This application offers a unique feature that combines photography with transparency effects, allowing users to capture images while viewing an overlay of either an existing photograph or a browser window. It is important to clarify that this app is not designed for traditional photo compositing.

The motivation behind developing this app stemmed from a personal desire to recreate childhood photos alongside my son, mirroring the poses of my own past. Initially, I attempted to achieve this by displaying and comparing old photographs side by side, but found that replicating poses proved to be quite challenging.

Thus, I conceived the idea to create this application, enabling users to overlap images for more accurate posing. During development, I discovered various additional applications for this functionality, leading to the inclusion of the option to view through both photos and browsers.

For instance, users can enhance their photography skills by referencing well-composed images from Instagram. Moreover, those interested in cosplay can utilize this app to align their poses with characters they are portraying.

As for the question of why there is no built-in compositing feature, the rationale lies in the goal of making the app accessible to a wider audience. Introducing complex functions could inadvertently limit usability. Therefore, the app focuses on straightforward functionality that allows for stacking images without the intricacies of compositing. For those wishing to combine images further, it is recommended to use another app post-capture.

This application aims to provide a fresh and distinctive alternative within the realm of standard photography apps.
